About the Leather
This full-grain leather is produced by Conceria Walpier, a member of Consorzio Vera Pelle Italiana Conciata Al Vegetale (Italy’s Genuine Vegetable-Tanned Leather Consortium). Buttero is renowned for its smooth, natural grain and rich, aniline-dyed colors that deepen beautifully over time.
Appearance: Smooth, uniform surface with a slight sheen; deep, saturated colors that develop character with wear.
Feel: Firm and structured yet supple; a clean, dry touch with a subtle waxy finish.
Hand: Dense and substantial, softening gradually while maintaining its shape.
Change over time: Gains a deep patina, softens slightly, and absorbs daily use into a unique, well-worn piece.
